Yes 100% true, I have had many gruesome experiences where I wanted someone, anyone to rescue me from what I was facing. I looked to family, friends, colleagues, lovers, my knight in shining armor on his trusty stead. At 60 I can see the beauty and benevolence of all the challenges that kept redirecting me into myself to find my strength, which was always there but masked by my traumas and yes that pesky little voice called the "ego". I call her "Snarky Ruffkin". Always telling me I wasn't loved, seen, accepted, care for, successful, etc. and for many decades I generally listened and it completely created a very grim life but my still inner voice aka God, Goddess, higher self whatever you like to call it was always there beckoning me forward into the truth and who I remembered myself to be as a child. While the details of our journey can vary greatly our common evolution is the same. Clear the wounds, find your self love, find your self-compassion and grace and the world will change albeit slow at times but it will always change for the better no matter how many dark hallways you may find yourself in! In love and ascension-Wendy 💖
