Wow thank you!!! Today is my 30 year anniversary of sobriety largely as a member of AA. The AA program is a global manual for spiritual development. I have heard over many years we wish we could package it in such a way to be available to everyone as a path to living. I have watched 100s of people over the years from all walks of life completely transform who they were to reveal their authentic selves via the steps. Folks from all walks of life. What strikes my heart the most is watching men come to this place. I see currently in my own groups men who on the exterior are rough, socially withdraw, ego driven etc change into higher power (of our choosing) loving, accountable, present humans who bring good to thus world rather then chaos.
I live near the home of Bill W and his wife Lois home. I was on a tour and one of the rooms the tour guide said was where Bill studied all things metaphysical and actually had seances and mediums there. It was an astonishing fact but I though of course knowing the Steps of AA. Some of the content of the “Bug Book” was written there. It is called Stepping Stones in Bedford Hills NY. What a fitting read on my AA birthday 🎊 💕. I will absolutely read his book!
