I loved your piece. I have been an under the radar healer for most of my life. It took decades of personal work, 12 years with a teacher, grueling dark nights of the soul. Having everything stripped from me and my ego burned to a crisp in the divine crucible. Healership is not for the faint of heart. It takes relentless courage, persistence, and working with the universe and our unseen friends to unthread the layers upon layers of trauma all in support of serving others having walked in the shoes yourself. Honestly watching all the nonsense out there, the shiny packaged courses and videos costing wanna be believers that the this person is the only one to show you the way is shameful but again that may be the exact learning that person needs and the "snake oil salesman" is simply playing his role. I was told in a guidance session with other developing healers from all walks of life that the reign of the "Guru" is over and each one of us is tasked with excavating what is inauthentic, learned, releasing over time all of the destructive patterns of behavior, over zealous "my way or the highway" ego eruptions, chromic lapses in humility and fingers that point only out inside in all in pursuit of evolution, ascension and returning to our true divine heart. My teacher used to say "Your community names you" and once that happens you have a profound responsibility to keep your side of your psyche clean so you are a clear and present channel to lead those who chose out of their darkness. you cannot lead where you have not gone. Thank you!
