Disturbing g, true and spot on. I have seen this for decades and it has created both rage and apathy in me. I have worked in the mental health field peeling people off the sidewalks when they are at their breaking point due to systems that don’t work, only for the 1%. We live an illusion of opportunity and when we fail because systems are designed that way we blame ourselves and think it is some failure in us. I have been that person who works three jobs Saving lives is not a priority here. But paying celebrities, politicians, sports players, and big corps is. What will it take? I think an industry wide national walk out may help but hey who has the time when all we do is hustle everyday and pretend it’s ok and we should be grateful for what we have.
